He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1977. He received the specialty of the Special Pathologist in 1982. He completed his two-year training course and received the 1993 Medical Acupressure Diploma from the ECPD (European Center for Peace and Development) from the Hippocratic Center for Acupuncture. He was trained in Medical Acupuncture at the BEIJING COLLEGE OF ACCUPUNCTUR AND ORTHOPEDIC. He served for 10 years as Vice President of the Acupuncture Medical Association of Greece. He was elected member of the Disciplinary Board of the Medical Association of Thessaloniki. He was Mayor of Thermaikos Municipality from 2007 to 2014. Co-founder of the Acupuncture Institute of Acupuncture in Greece. He has been teaching Acupuncture since 1998 to graduate doctors in ATHENS and THESSALONIKI.
